Fibre Circuit Planned Engineering Works - 7th to 8th February 2022

Neos Networks one of our fibre providers has notified us of maintenance taking place to reroute fibre, which will cause the loss of one of our point-to-point fibre circuits to our Data Centre.

We do not anticipate services will be affected during this time. Any traffic carried over the circuit will be automatically rerouted over alternative fibre circuits.

Start of work - At-Risk period:

Start Date: 7th February 2022 Start Time: 17:00 GMT

End of work - At-Risk period:

Risk End Date: 8th February 2022 Start Time: 08:00 GMT

Service Impact:

No impact to live services is expected, and we will maintain 2N network redundancy during the maintenance window.

Reason:

Neos Networks will be diverting fibre cables away from the scope of civil engineering works as part of a new highway road development scheme in Basingstoke, UK.
