Transit Provider, Lumen Planned Works - 7th to 8th December 202111 November 2021One of our transit providers, Lumen (Level3) has notified us of maintenance taking place at their POP in Telehouse North, London.
Start of work - At-Risk period: Start Date: 7th December 2021 Start Time: 17:00 BST
End of work - At-Risk period: Risk End Date: 8th December 2021 Start Time: 08:00 BST
Service Impact: We do not anticipate services will be affected during this time. We have three tier 1 transit providers, and traffic will be carried by our other two transit providers, Telia and Cogent, during the period allowing us to retain redundancy throughout.
Reason: Essential network maintenance activity is taking place within Lumens UK Optical Transmission Network platform. They have a major programme requirement to migrate all traffic from legacy equipment which is due to be de-commissioned to upgraded hardware and software version. |
