Changes to Web Wiz website statistics

We have replaced our website statistics with a new, modern service. It is at the same address, https://stats.websitelive.net, and the price is unchanged at £1.95 a month.

Our previous service counted bots and AI crawlers as real visitors, which made websites look much busier than they were. The new service separates real people from bots, so the figures show your genuine visitors.

If you already use website statistics

Your history has been moved across, so nothing has been lost. Older figures may look higher than recent ones, as the old service counted bots as visitors.

Passwords could not be moved across, so please set a new one in your control panel at https://www.controlpanellive.net, then log in as before.

What’s new

• A one-click website health check that finds broken links, error pages and missing page titles across up to 500 pages

• An AI summary of how your website is doing, in plain English

• Visitors from AI assistants such as ChatGPT, search engines and social media

• Weekly email reports

Website statistics can be switched on for any shared or reseller hosting plan from your control panel: https://www.webwiz.net/kb/controlpanel-tutorials/enable-website-statistics.htm
