Shared Hosting Database Maintenance - December 202528 November 2025
We will be performing maintenance on shared hosting database servers during December 2025. This will affect both all SQL Server and some MySQL databases running on shared hosting. Start of work - At-risk period: Start Date: 1st of December Start Time: 05:00 GMT End of work - At-risk period: Risk End Date: 30th of December Risk End Time: 18:00 GMT Service Impact: Databases may be unavailable for a 15-minute period during the migration to new database servers, but will otherwise continue to function as previously. Reason:
Microsoft has discontinued the Web Edition of SQL Server. In preparation for the change in SQL Server edition, we are migrating databases to new servers and merging low-traffic database servers. |
