Shared Hosting Database Maintenance18 March 2026Maintenance Window
Summary We will be performing scheduled maintenance on our shared hosting database infrastructure during the period specified above. This work is necessary to upgrade hardware to provide improved redundancy and reliability for our hosting platforms. Service Impact This maintenance affects all SQL Server databases and a selection of MySQL databases running on our shared hosting infrastructure. During this "At-Risk" window, database servers will be migrated between primary and failover hardware nodes. This process will require three to four reboots per server. While we aim to keep downtime to a minimum, customers may experience brief intermittent connectivity of under 30 seconds to their databases during these reboot cycles. Reason for Maintenance The work involves a significant hardware upgrade designed to enhance the overall stability and performance of our database clusters, ensuring better redundancy and long-term reliability for your services. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience as we improve our infrastructure. |
