Update: SQL Server Upgrade Rollback and Service Restoration02 March 2026The scheduled maintenance window to upgrade our database infrastructure to SQL Server 2025 has concluded. Following the deployment, our automated validation systems identified critical stability issues and environment compatibility conflicts that did not emerge during initial staging. To ensure the continued reliability of our hosting platform and to prevent a prolonged service outage, the decision was made to perform an immediate Emergency Rollback to our stable SQL Server 2022 environment. Impact on Data Restoration Point: Databases have been restored to the last verified stable snapshot taken at 07:00 GMT Any data written to the platform between 07:00 and 15:00 was caught in the compatibility conflict and could not be safely migrated back to the stable environment. Technical Root Cause During the final phase of the upgrade, we observed unexpected behaviour in the 2025 engine's interaction with our multi-tenant resource management layer. These stability issues posed a high risk of database corruption and intermittent connectivity for shared hosting tenants. Reverting to SQL Server 2022 was the only path to guarantee 100% data integrity moving forward. We sincerely apologise for the data loss and the disruption to your operations. Our priority remains the absolute stability of your hosted services.
