Windows Server and Firewall Updates - September 202510 September 2025We will be performing Windows Updates on our Windows Shared Hosting Servers, Hyper-V Platform, Hyper-V Servers, Managed Dedicated Servers, and Customer Managed Firewalls during the following period: Start of work - At-risk period: Start Date: 11th September 2025 End of work - At-risk period: Risk End Date: 12th September 2025 Times work will be carried out: Start Time: 05:00 BST End Time: 8:30 BST Service Impact: After the updates are applied, each server will need to be rebooted twice, resulting in a brief service interruption of approximately 1 to 4 minutes per reboot. Reason: Microsoft releases Windows updates and patches on the second Tuesday of each month. These updates address security vulnerabilities, performance issues, and other concerns. After testing the latest updates, we will roll them out to all Web Wiz Managed Windows Servers. Additionally, Negate has released new firmware for their firewalls, and we will be updating customer firewalls to the latest version. |
